Standard Warranty
Advantage Computer's "Custom Designed Systems"
Advantage Computer Services, LLC warrants this Product, described as
a computer (being case and all hardware inside) including keyboard, mouse
and speakers against defects in materials and workmanship for a period
of one (1) year and labor for a period of one (1) year unless otherwise
stated in writing as follows:
- PARTS: Advantage Computer Services, LLC will supply, at no charge,
new or rebuilt replacements in exchange for defective parts. After the
warranty period, you must pay for all parts costs. Advantage Computer
Services owns all parts removed from repaired products. If a product
is replaced, its warranty term is not extended.
- LABOR: Advantage Computer Services, LLC will replace the product with
a new or rebuilt unit at no charge. Advantage Computer Services LLC
must conduct repairs. Any labor charges paid to a service facility will
not be reimbursed. After the Warranty Period, you must pay for all labor
charges.
This warranty does not cover any items that are in one or more of the
following categories: software, external devices, backup devices, accessories
or parts added to an Advantage Computer Services system after the system
is delivered.
****Any problems with Microsoft Windows Operating systems are not covered by this warranty****
WARRANTY SERVICE MAY BE VOID IF REGULAR MAINTENANCE IS NOT PREFORMED
AS OUTLINED IN THE Recommended Procedures and Regular Maintenance Addendum.
This warranty does not cover any units, which have been previously altered,
repaired or serviced by anyone other than a service facility authorized
by Advantage Computer Services, LLC. This warranty does not cover cosmetic
damage or damage due to acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence,
un-normal commercial use, or modification of, or to any part of the product.
This warranty does not cover damage due to improper operation of maintenance,
or connection to improper voltage supply. This warranty does not cover
products sold AS IS or WITH ALL FAULTS.
To obtain warranty service, you must contact Advantage Computer Services, LLC.
Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice,
which is evidence that the unit is within the Warranty period, must be
presented to obtain warranty service. This warranty is invalid if the
factory applied serial number or tamper seal has been altered or removed
from the Product.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE
REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER. ADVANTAGE COMPUTER SERVICES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE
FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS PRODUCT IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION
OF THIS WARRANTY.
This warranty does not cover:
MISUSE, NEGLECT, ABUSE, ACCIDENTS, or any other act of God. This also
includes Smoke Residue Damage to CD-Rom (or any Hardware) caused by Cigarette
Smoke or Highly Dusty and dirty work areas.

~DAMAGING ELECTRICAL CHARGE (Caused by lightning, other appliances,
or incorrectly wired homes). Advantage Computer Services, LLC HIGHLY
recommends the use of a UL Approved Surge protector WITH Fax/Modem
Protection. Lightning damage or other electrical malfunctions are
the number one cause of modem failures and Hard drive failures.
This is detectable and is NOT covered under Advantage Computer Services,
LLC warranty, even if your computer was plugged in to a surge protector.
It is the customer's responsibility to obtain compensation from their
own homeowners/business insurance. (** 3 prong adapters used on
surge protectors will NOT function as a properly grounded outlet
therefore not providing proper protection).
Warranty will be voided automatically if a customer modifies
ANY hardware item originally installed by Advantage Computer Services,
LLC. Warranty also void on any accounts past due on invoices.
